The Tennessee Titans shouldn’t panic, but they have to get better.

Though many of us were ready to hit the panic button after Week 4’s loss to the lowly New York Jets, the Tennessee Titans have a lot to hang their hat on. They’ll make the playoffs. They should win the AFC South, and they have stars, Derrick Henry and Ryan Tannehill for instance, that can help steady the ship if things go haywire.

Seriously, it isn’t like this team is void of leadership. They’re coached fairly well though there is room for improvement. They have one of the NFL’s best owners in Amy Adams Strunk. Jon Robinson has to be credited for being one of pro football’s best general managers.

The Tennessee Titans have an identity. The question is whether or not they can evolve into being one of the NFL’s elite. Before that happens, certain questions must be answered.

Tennessee is, by no means, a perfect team. The defense simply isn’t getting the job done consistently enough. Who knows how they plan to stop the Buffalo Bills. There’s been a dropoff at both coordinator positions. Derrick Henry is overworked.

Whether or not those issues can be fixed will determine how far Tennessee progresses this season. The above concerns are, without question, among the biggest issues that surround the Titans as Week 6’s game approaches. What follows is two of about five more.
