Tennessee Titans versus Buffalo: 5 Bills to watch on defense

The Bills’ offense gets a ton of attention, and rightfully so. Don’t be surprised if it’s Buffalo’s defense, however, that makes the play to decide this one. Here are five of their stars on that side of the ball that you’ll want to pay attention to.

Tre’Davious White, cornerback

Tre’Davious White landed at number 95 on the most recent NFL Top 100 Players ranking. The argument can be made that he should have been ranked higher.

Jordan Poyer, safety

All Jordan Poyer does is make plays, but for whatever reason, he isn’t viewed as one of the league’s best at his position (even though that’s exactly what he is). So far, he has 20 total tackles, a sack, an interception, and three pass breakups on the 2021 ledger.

Micah Hyde, cornerback

Unless you’re a fan of a rival, there’s absolutely no reason not to like Micah Hyde. He and White combine for a nice one-two punch in the secondary.

Tremaine Edmunds, linebacker

Tremaine Edmunds is a weapon on the defensive side of the ball. Through five games of the season, he leads the Bills in total tackles (30), and he has an interception on his resume.

Greg Rousseau, defensive end

Nothing says ‘talent’ like a defensive lineman who can begin a play in the three-point stance, tip a Patrick Mahomes pass and wind up with an interception. The Bills snagged Greg Rousseau with the 30th-overall selection of the most recent NFL Draft. It’s safe to say that decision has the potential to pay off for them in a huge way.
