Several Tennessee Titans have proven to be nice surprises.

It’s the unpredictable nature of the NFL and its teams, Tennessee Titans included, that keep us watching. Sure certain teams should win. Some surprise us when they don’t. Then, there are teams like the Detroit Lions. Who knows what’s going on there.

The same intrigue applies to the league’s best players and everything that comes along with watching their individual stories. Stars deliver elite-level performances. Guys have off-years, but who doesn’t love the unexpected? Who doesn’t get charged up when someone we aren’t expecting much from plays above their skillset and leaves us wanting more?

This is their story. Despite a 2-2 division-leading start to the 2021 NFL season, the Titans have, more often than not, been frustrating to watch. There have been a few silver linings though.

There are several of Tennessee’s players that have gone from NFL obscurity to potentially carving out breakout seasons. They’ve given us reason to cheer, and they’ve proven that they could be key pieces as the Titans try to become a team that’s contending in the AFC year after year.
