It’s time to finally get that nasty taste out of our mouths and move on from the tragedy that was the Tennessee Titans‘ debacle versus the New York Jets in Week 4. So much for easy wins huh? Gosh, that was embarrassing!

The Titans now shift their focus towards a divisional rival, the winless Jacksonville Jaguars who are coming off of a Week 4 loss on Thursday Night Football in which they gave the Cincinnati Bengals all that they can handle.

Rookie Trevor Lawrence and his head coach, Urban Meyer, are still looking for that first taste of success on an NFL playing surface. Let’s hope the Titans don’t play the role of sacrificial lambs and gift wrap a win for them.

Titans vs Jacksonville Odds Week 5

The Week 5 betting odds on WynnBET have the Titans favored by four points, and right now, that’s a point spread that makes sense. The Titans have been wildly inconsistent on both sides of the ball, and even though the general consensus is this team is better than the Jacksonville Jaguars, one has to ask if Tennessee will show up ready to play.

Tennessee’s moneyline odds have been set at -220. The over/under is set at 48.5 points. Jacksonville’s moneyline odds are set at +185 as they’re the underdogs.

Titans vs Jacksonville Prediction Week 5

Based on everything we’ve all seen, there is a growing concern that the Titans will continue to play down to inferior competition and make things hard on themselves. This isn’t a very consistent team right now, and the experts see that.

Sure, it feels like the point spread should be a wider margin, but no one is confident that, even if Tennessee wins, that they’ll do so by more than a touchdown.

Take the spread if you’re thinking of wagering on the Titans this week because seeing as how there are some Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde tendencies with this team, no one is certain about whether this is a squad will beat up on a weaker team or one that will struggle to put up points and have to put together a drive late to finally put the Jags away.

Suddenly, we’re doubtful if the Titans can create any consistent offensive cohesion.
