The Tennessee Titans have been fortunate that Ryan Tannehill has benefitted greatly since he was traded from the Dolphins ahead of the 2019 season. Tannehill might not be the flashiest quarterback but he’s consistent and as a result, the Titans are always a team to watch out for.

Matt Verderame of FanSided ranked every starting quarterback ahead of the 2021 season and had Tannehill at No. 8.

"Tannehill has been among the league’s best since being inserted as the starter for Tennessee in 2019. The Titans lost Corey Davis and Jonnu Smith this offseason but added Julio Jones and Josh Reynolds to an already dangerous offense. If Jones stays healthy and the line holds up, Tannehill is in for a monster season."

For those living outside of Tennessee, this ranking might seem unbelievably high (or low, depending on how you phrase rankings) but Titans fans aren’t shocked to see their signal-caller in the top 10.

The Tennessee Titans’ QB earns a well-deserved top-ten ranking.

As Verderame noted, Tannehill has been at the top of the pack since taking over as the Titans’ starting quarterback. While he did lose some weapons this offseason, Julio Jones getting traded to Tennessee makes up for that.

Tannehill was unstoppable last season, throwing for 3,819 yards, 33 touchdowns, and seven interceptions through all 16 regular-season games. He also dashed for 266 yards and seven more scores with his legs, showing that he can be a threat both through the air and on the ground.

With the rest of the AFC South looking weak (especially if the Colts continue to get banged up), Tannehill has a chance to put the division away early on. If he lights up the Cardinals in Week 1, Tannehill could see himself even higher up on these rankings.
