Tennessee Titans roster projections (defense)

Defensive linemen (5): Jeffery Simmons, Denico Autry, Larrell Murchison, Teair Tart, Naquan Jones

This is a nice mix of veterans and youth. The Tennessee Titans should stuff the run and get after the quarterback much better than they did in 2020.

Inside linebackers (5): Jayon Brown Rashaan Evans, Monty Rice, Nick Dzubnar, David Long

That’s a nice group of guys. They’re hungry. They fly around, and they swarm t the football. That’s what you want from your inside linebackers.

Outside Linebackers (5): Bud Dupree, Harold Landry, Rashad Weaver, Ola Adeniyi, Derick Roberson

They say preseason games don’t matter much, but how can they not? That’s the best evaluator that we have for where guys are, and if our eyes aren’t lying to us, the second level of this Titans defense is going to be scary!

Trending. Biggest winners and losers from preseason finale. light

Cornerbacks (6): Jackrabbit Jenkins, Kristian Fulton, Elijah Molden, Caleb Farley, Breon Borders, Chris Jackson

It’s going to take a little longer than we originally imagined for that Caleb Farley experiment to pay dividends. He makes the team though, along with fellow rookie Elijah Molden, but he’ll begin his career as a backup.

Safeties (4): Kevin Byard, Amani Hooker, Dane Cruikshank, Matthias Farley

The Specialists (3): Morgan Cox is the long snapper. Sam Ficken is the kicker. Brett Kern is the punter.
