3 Bears on offense that could rise to the occasion versus Tennessee Titans

Riley Ridley, wide receiver

The Chicago Bears have an interesting battle at wide receiver brewing, one in which a couple of guys who were once thought to make this roster may not. Some of the unknowns are rising to the occasion. Does that sound familiar?

Allen Robinson and Darnell Mooney will make the roster as the guys who start on the outside of the offensive formation. That makes Marquise Goodwin, in all likelihood, the slot wideout. Riley Ridley still has some work to do to make an impression, but he should have plenty of opportunities to do so on Saturday.

Dazz Newsome, wide receiver

Speaking of guys that have much to prove and figure to get an extended look, we’ve reached the Dazz Newsome portion of the discussion. A Second-team All-ACC nod in 2019, this young man caught 188 passes and scored 20 total touchdowns (18 rushing and two receiving) in 43 career games at North Carolina. If that translates to the professional level, watch out.
