NFL Power Rankings: Number 6, Cleveland Browns
Have you taken time to look at the Cleveland Browns roster lately? Are they loaded or what? Don’t look now, but the Browns arguably have the most talented roster from top to bottom in the AFC North.
Once upon a time, this once-proud franchise was seemingly an afterthought every year before the season even began. There were even questions about how much effort was being invested into making this team better. Those days are over.
This franchise is all in. They have the right head coach (Kevin Stefanski). They have the right general manager (Andrew Berry). That’s good news. A fan base as loyal as this one deserves to see guys in key positions that care. The biggest question mark may be at quarterback. Still, if we’re being honest, regardless of how you feel about Baker Mayfield we all should have seen by now that he has some ability.
The Browns are good now! They should be a force to be reckoned with, and no one should be shocked if they win up in the AFC Championship Game.
NFL Power Rankings: Number 5, Baltimore Ravens
Though Lamar Jackson’s phenomenal 2019 season seems like it was five years ago sometimes, the point should have been driven home by now that he isn’t someone that should be counted out by anyone. Jackson reminds football fans of Michael Vick, but Jackson has one aspect to his game that Vick didn’t have early, an intense work ethic that seemingly won’t be satisfied until the Baltimore Ravens win a third Super Bowl with him as the starter.
The Ravens aren’t going anywhere. They already possessed one of the more talented rosters in all of the NFL. The addition of guys like Rashod Bateman, Odafe Oweh, and Shaun Wade will only make this team better.
