NFL Power Rankings: Number 11, New Orleans Saints

We should know a lot about how good this New Orleans Saints team will be fairly early. They still have one of the best offensive lines in football, but they’re replacing Drew Brees with the winner of a quarterback battle between Taysom Hill and Jameis Winston. They also have to figure out what’s going on with Michael Thomas.

Oh, and then, there’s this. If Michael Thomas isn’t going to be a part of this team, how confident can they be in Tre’Quan Smith, Marquez Callaway, or Deonte Harris? Are any of those guys a legitimate wide receiver?

NFL Power Rankings: Number 10, Dallas Cowboys

Love them or hate them, a top-ten ranking for the Dallas Cowboys seems like an appropriate place for them to land. Now, while that ranking will absolutely take a hit and cause them to drop if Dak Prescott can’t go, this team has gone from being a dysfunctional and once-proud franchise to a well-stocked roster capable of a postseason run.

Dallas spent a ton of resources on this defense during the offseason. If they’re even 50 percent better than they were a season ago, every opponent on their schedule better watch out because if you’re not ready for a shootout, you could be left in the dust by a team that, at times, scores at will.
