Tennessee Titans CB Breon Borders

Veteran cornerback Breon Borders has had a good camp so far and his 2020 season was underrated. During his time with the Titans, he was a clear upgrade over Johnathan Joseph and Chris Jackson and if the coaches had known how bad Adoree Jackson was going to be when he was put back on the field, maybe Broders would have kept his job until the end of the year.

The ideal lineup for the Tennessee Titans is for Caleb Farley and Jackrabbit Jenkins to play on the outside and then Kristian Fulton can play inside as the slot cornerback. We know that because Shane Bowen said as much today:

However, there is a chance that Mike Vrabel goes old school and waits until he is absolutely sure before he pulls the trigger on starting a rookie.

If that is the case, then there are two different ways the coaching staff can address this. They can either replace Farley with a boundary cornerback and let Fulton stay where he is, or they can move Fulton to the boundary and bring in someone else to play slot corner.

If they want to go with the first and most logical option, Borders is an easy replacement and he has experience with this coaching staff and with the safeties that will be playing behind him.
