No one expected much out of the Tennessee Titans in 2019, and a quarterback who was a castoff in Miami with the Dolphins (Ryan Tannehill) supplanted a guy the Titans drafted with the second-overall selection in 2015 (Marcus Mariota) to lead Tennessee to a postseason berth and eventually an AFC Championship Game appearance.

One year later, with a more talented team, Tennessee posted an 11-5 win-loss title in 2020 before being bounced from the playoffs after a single game. What should we expect in 2021. Who knows? But again, that’s why we watch.
