Tennessee Titans defensive line may be the most talked-about battle in camp.

If you’re taking notes, you’ve figured out that all three levels of the Titans defense have had a mention. Finishing in the bottom percentile in passing yards allowed, touchdowns allowed, a red-zone scoring percentage will do that for you.

Tennessee had a plan this offseason. Figure out a way to stop opposing teams from throwing the ball all over the place and find some guys that can get to the quarterback with some regularity. Covering receivers and getting to the other team’s signal-caller work hand in hand. One doesn’t work without the other, and if everything still begins in the trenches with football, which it has for decades, the Titans would want to find the right mix of guys to make like tough on everyone else’s offensive line.

Jeffery Simmons, Denico Autry, Teair Tart, Larrell Murchison, and Abry Jones figure to be the most likely mixture, but Bruce Hector, Woodrow Hamilton IV, and Trevon Coley will have their say in things. Buckle up. This could get interesting.
