. . . Defensive backs. 4. player. 35

Tennessee Titans enter camp with 5 defensive backs, 8 cornerbacks, 2 safeties

Okay, so maybe combining the safeties with the cornerbacks and defensive backs was unnecessary. It was just really cool to do so in an attempt to demonstrate how crowded the rooms are. The Tennessee Titans enter training camp with two guys designated as safeties (rookie Brady Breeze and Matthias Farley), and Kevin Byard is listed as a free safety.

Byard will obviously make this team, and the general consensus is the best-case scenario for Breeze is that he should wind up on the practice squad. So, if Farley makes this squad, a very likely scenario, of Tennessee’s five defensive backs that are listed on the training camp roster (Dane Cruikshank, Amani Hooker, Chris Jackson, Chris Jones, and Maurice Smith), Cruikshank, Hooker, and Jackson seem like the guys who should get in, but a strong camp by someone or an injury can shake things up here a lot.

Tennessee’s eight cornerbacks are Breon Borders, Kevin Peterson, Caleb Farley, Elijah Molden, Kristian Fulton, Janoris Jenkins, Greg Mabin, and Quenton Meeks. The Titans figure to carry six on the roster. Again, the top guys here appear to be obvious, but an injury changes things here in a hurry.
