Tennessee Titans 2021-2022 NFL season, Week 8, Indianapolis Colts
There are certain things that you know you can hang your hat on if you love Tennessee Titans football. One of which is this. You know, regardless of what happens, that you’re getting two games annually versus the Indianapolis Colts.
The easiest way to make the postseason in the NFL is by winning the division. The Houston Texans are a mess. The Jacksonville Jaguars aren’t quite ready to compete. That, in all likelihood, means that Indy is Tennessee’s biggest obstacle in clinching a second consecutive AFC South crown, and now there’s a new wrinkle. The Colts just added Carson Wentz who’s looking to resurrect what’s become a career headed in the wrong direction.
This Halloween matchup is the second of Tennessee’s clashes with the hated Colts. This one’s in Indy, and even though, all divisional battles are important, regardless of what the outcome would have been in the first game, this one figures to be more intense because it comes later in the season, and it follows games versus the Bills and Chiefs.
To make matters worse, this one’s followed by games versus the Rams in Los Angeles in Week 9 and a homestand versus an always dangerous New Orleans Saints team in Week 10.
