Tennessee Titans running back Jeremy McNichols

Maybe you haven’t noticed this yet, but it has to be said. Jeremy McNichols, for whatever reason, is the man on EA’s Madden game. If he hits all of the buttons on the control pad as he does in the game, he’s going to be a nad boy during training camp.

There! How’s that for some well-thought-out analysis?

Okay, let’s be serious for a second. At the time of this story being written and published, the Tennessee Titans house five running backs and two fullbacks on the roster. One is the best on Planet Earth, Derrick Henry.

Some have argued about whether or not the Titans will keep five running backs or four. If five is the choice, we could guess that Khari Blasingame is a safe bet to land the fullback role (yes, they still exist). If the Titans decide to go with a four-man rotation at the position, this is a discussion that could get really interesting come the end of the preseason.

Darrynton Evans seems to be a pretty solid choice as one of the locks to make the roster. Place Brian Hill, Jeremy McNichols, and Mekhi Sargent on the bubble.

With that being said, Hill and McNichols seem to be in a battle for one roster spot if Tennessee keeps four guys. If that theory is accurate, NFL pundits seem to have mixed opinions over the Titans will keep. To make long stories short, both need strong preseason showings.
