4 Tennessee Titans who are on huge roster bubbles during training camp
Tennessee Titans defensive back Chris Jackson
Cornerback Chris Johnson’s name won’t jump off of the page when you give the Tennessee Titans’ roster a look, but he does do a lot of good things when he finds his way onto the football field. He isn’t great at a lot of things, but he’s solid.
He was a seventh-round draft choice of this franchise in 2020, and he saw a lot of action as a rookie thanks, in large part, to an injury sustained by Tennessee’s second-round choice of the same draft class (and position grouping), Kristian Fulton.
Jackson stands at six-foot-tall and tips the scales at 186 pounds. He was a First-team All-Conference USA nod following his final season with Marshall Thundering Herd. In his first run with the Titans, he found his way onto the field for 11 games with three starts. 24 total tackles were the result, including 14 of the solo variety.
Look for him to compete with a crowded group of defensive backs for a chance to land a spot on this roster because, if he does, he’s someone that can contribute as a cornerback or a safety.
