. . . Nick Westbrook-Ikhine. 15. player. 35

Nick Westbrook-Ikhine has an opportunity to make this roster.

Talk to any Tennessee Titans enthusiast, and they’re probably going to tell you that Nick Westbrook-Ikhine is riding that line of making this team’s roster and finding his way onto the waiver wire. No one wants to be crass here, but that’s it. That’s the line.

His ceiling is he could be the fifth or sixth guy on the depth chart. His floor is he’s going to be left off of this roster entirely and wind up on the practice squad. Such is the life for a former 2020 undrafted rookie.

So far, his NFL life has been a roller-coaster ride.

After being waived a season ago during final cuts, he earned a spot on the practice squad and saw himself elevated to the active roster, He was reverted back to the scout team but got promoted again. In all, he appeared in 14 games with one start and snagged three passes on the season. All of which went for the first downs.

At the time of this story being written and published, Tennessee has 13 wideouts on the roster and a quick case study tells us this. When camp starts. Nick Westbrook-Ikhine is probably staring up at five guys on the depth chart. Seven guys are probably staring up at him, but that can change once the ball gets rolling.
