Who made the cut: Ryan Tannehill, Logan Woodside, Derrick Henry, Darrynton Evans, Brian Hill, Khari Blasingame

The Tennessee Titans have some work to do to figure out who the backups are behind Pro Bowl quarterback Ryan Tannehill and All-Pro running back Derrick Henry.

Logan Woodside has gotten the nod for a while and unless he completely forgets the offense during training camp, it is going to be hard for anyone to take that spot from him. Backup quarterback is an important position but neither Woodside nor Deshone Kizer are future starters in the NFL so it isn’t worth focusing on for too long.

At running back, Brian Hill gets the nod over Jeremy McNichols as the running back who will back up the duo of Derrick Henry and Darrnyon Evans.

Speaking of Evans, expect him to take on a lot of the gadget/motion responsibilities left behind by Cam Batson (spoiler alert). After a false start to kick off his NFL career, a healthy Evans will remind everyone why Tennessee Titans fans were so high on him before the 2020 season.
