Who made the cut: Brett Kern, Blake Haubeil, Morgan Cox

For what it’s worth, but Morgan Cox has been to the Pro Bowl four times in the last six seasons including 2019 and 2020. Also, last year was the first season where long snappers could earn All-Pro honors. Since Cox was selected as the First-Team All-Pro, he is officially the only First-Team All-Pro long snapper in the history of the NFL.

Brett Kern is a top-five punter in the NFL and even though his golfing partners have changed with the releases of Beau Brinkley and Ryan Succop, he remains a constant on the Tennessee Titans roster.

Kicker is where this gets interesting because Blake Haubeil was a well-respected college kicker and a lot of people thought that he was one of the very few kickers that might be worth a draft pick. Instead, the Titans snagged him as a UDFA and he has minimal competition on the roster right now.

Over the last seven seasons, the Titans have had two kickers and both of those kickers were signed in September right before the season started. That means that if Haubeil doesn’t impress the Tennessee Titans coaching staff by the end of training camp, history says that they won’t be afraid to look elsewhere.
