Here are two Tennessee Titans that have tough climbs to earn roster spots.

Racey McMath, wide receiver, LSU (Round 6)

Biggest Problem: Technique, fundamentals, competition

Racey McMath might be the best combination of size and speed that the Tennessee Titans have, but he’s staring up at a lot of guys on the depth chart, including the aforementioned Dez Fitzpatrick. He’ll also need to improve his technique and fundamentals if he expects to have a long career in the NFL.

Brady Breeze, Oregon (Round 6)

Biggest Problem: Competition

The Titans have two true safeties on the 90-man training camp roster, and Brady Breeze is one of them. They also have five guys who are designated as defensive backs which could hinder Brady Breeze’s chances of earning a roster spot (Dane Cruikshank, Amani Hooker, Chris Jackson, Chris Jones, and Maurice Smith).

At this point, as expected, those guys are all more experienced and further along in their development than Breeze is, and that’s okay. All road might lead to the practice squad here.
