As a Tennessee Titans fan, why would you think landing Gilmore is impossible?

At this point, you have to believe that Jon Robinson is capable of anything, don’t you? How does a team that supposedly had all of these salary cap issues lose so much talent but seemingly upgrade at every position (except for maybe at tight end)?

No, that’s a serious question. How does that happen? Sure, some of us struggled at math in our youth, but we’ve all had to keep our checking accounts from drifting into the negative status.

In other words, regardless of how you grade your proficiency in trigonometry or calculus, we can all add and subtract, and teams that are dangerously close to the edge of salary cap peril shouldn’t be able to sign everyone Robinson has added or trade for one of the game’s best (and most expensive) wide receivers, Julio Jones.

That’s a long-winded way of saying this. Sure, we all knew the Tennessee Titans were among the favorites to land Julio, but we also thought it was unrealistic at points too right? Robinson proved us wrong again, so even though there shouldn’t be a way to trade for Stephon Gilmore, we have faith that, if anyone can get the job done, if anyone can make it happen, it’s the Titans G.M.
