3. For once and for all, is the Tennessee Titans’ first-round draft choice healthy?

Okay, is Caleb Farley healthy or not? He hasn’t even played a down of football yet, and we’ve already discussed his decision to sit out of last year’s college football season, his recent surgery, his inexperience at playing cornerback, and whether or not he’ll be fully healthy for the coming Tennessee Titans regular season in great detail.

We all know that he’s talented. He was a first-rounder long before the Titans called his name at 22, and had there been no concerns about his injury issues, he probably would have been the first cornerback off of the draft board. He’ll, no doubt, be asked to start early.

Fellow Titans cornerback Kristian Fulton, Tennessee’s second-round selection in 2021, battled injury all season long in 2020. He also missed all but six games as a rookie. The hope is he’ll be a breakout candidate in 2021.

Cross your fingers and hope we aren’t having a similar conversation about Caleb Farley a year from now. It will be a huge lift to this team and a huge weight off of the fans’ minds if he can play in all of the schedule’s games during the coming regular season, especially after Titans fans had to watch the exploits of what might be the franchise’s biggest bust ever, Isaiah Wilson, in 2020.
