. . . Marcus Johnson. . player. 35

Johnson is looking up at too many guys on the Tennesse Titans depth chart.

Of the three guys mentioned on this list (four, if you include Mcmath), Marcus Johnson is the most experienced and the guy with the best chance of winding up on an NFL roster in 2021. He’s been given four opportunities after going undrafted in 2016, but he’s actually found his way onto an NFL playing surface 34 times over the course of his brief career.

Most of that came as a member of the rival Indianapolis Colts, where he logged 24 in-game appearances with nine starts from 2018 to 2020. He also has ten in-game appearances and a Super Bowl ring as he was a member of the Philadelphia Eagles championship team that won Super Bowl 52.

At this point of his pro football journey, he’s hauled in 42 receptions for 679 yards and three trips to the end zone. He’s the best of this three-man bunch, but for him to make the Tennessee Titans roster, the two-tone blue is going to have to sustain a rash of unexpected injuries. He’s just staring up at too many guys on the depth chart.
