For three Tennessee Titans, the Julio Jones signing is actually bad news.

Perhaps, you’ve been living under a rock, and if so, there’s something you need to hear as Tennessee Titans fans. While most of us were getting ready for a day of watching the NBA Playoffs, the NFL, as it often does, stole the headlines in one fell swoop.

The Atlanta Falcons and Titans finally put an end to the rumors as NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported that sources told him these two proud franchises were in the process of hammering out a deal that will send the future Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee, Julio Jones, to Nashville. Just like that, the Titans have the best wide receiver duo in all of pro football.

And just like that, it appears that all roads lead to the practice squad for Tennessee Titans rookie Racey McMath. Tennessee made the former LSU Tiger the 205th-overall selection during the sixth round, but here’s something to consider, and you’re very familiar with the following ideologies even if you have no idea who the authors are.

One, football is a business. Second, sixth-round draft choices aren’t exactly guys that are locks to make the roster. McMath will probably be kept around seeing as how the two-tone blue did invest draft stock in him but, again, all roads probably lead to the scout team.

At the time of this story being published, the Titans already have 11 other wideouts on the training camp roster other than Mcmath and the legend. They’ll probably take six into the regular season on the 53-man roster. With that being said, it’s time to discuss the ‘business’ of football. Here are three Titans who immediately find themselves on roster bubbles after the signing of Jones
