Tennessee Titans schedule: Caleb Farley’s 5 most interesting matchups in 2021
How can the Tennessee Titans ignore a member of Madden’s 99 club?
That last statement probably means more to you if you’re a gamer, but EA Sports Madden is a phenomenon all to itself. Every year, fans obsess over speed and overall rankings, and before the game even drops, it’s become a tradition to gush over which NFL stars will earn spots in Madden’s exclusive 99 Club.
That’s an honor given to certain players that get an overall ranking on the game of 99, the highest overall ranking one can achieve. DeAndre Hopkins has earned said honor in the past, and though none of us are ratings adjustors, most NFL fans wouldn’t object if he’s given a 99 again in 2021.
Nothing works against Hopkins. The bump-and-run doesn’t do much. Playing off coverage never seems to work effectively. Double teams only force teams to use another guy that probably needs to be used somewhere else.
This may wind up being Caleb Farley’s toughest matchup of the season, not just because Hopkins might be the NFL’s best wideout, but also because this will be Farley’s first game ever in the ultra-competitive NFL.
