3. How does the Tennessee Titans prized receiver look?

Dez Fitzpatrick is a name that very few Tennessee Titans fans knew before Day 3 of the draft and now he is one of the lynchpins of this draft class.

The Titans traded up on Day 3 to get Fitzpatrick giving up a handful of picks to do so, and they selected him over more popular wide receivers like Tylan Wallace and Amon-Ra St. Brown. In doing so Jon Robinson basically admitted that the Titans’ grade on Fitzpatrick was noticeably higher than on the two bigger names left on the board.

Currently, it looks like he is slated to be one of the top three receivers in the Titans offense and he could get a significant number of snaps by the end of the season with or without an injury pushing him up the depth chart.

Rumors are swirling around that the Tennessee Titans are in the market for another skill player, specifically a wide receiver, and how Dez Fitzpatrick looks in this minicamp may have a lot to do with how aggressive the Titans get.

If Fitzpatrick looks like a natural then maybe the Titans wait to pull the trigger on trade until they give him a real shot at the starting job. Then again, if he looks lost it may push the Titans to offer up future draft picks with a little less resistance.
