Tennessee Titans primetime matchups – No. 3: Buffalo Bills

It only makes sense to have two of the best teams in the AFC square off in 2021, right? This game is one that Titans fans are certainly excited about, as it’s a home game against the AFC East-winning Bills. This means Josh Allen will come to Nashville for what should be a really fun game between two really good teams.

The last time the Titans faced Buffalo, the Bills were on a roll to start the season but Tennessee clobbered them to the tune of 42-16 on an unprecedented Tuesday night game. Don’t expect that to happen again, especially if this game is in primetime.

As we saw last year, the Bills are quite good, making it all the way to the AFC Championship Game, only to lose to the Chiefs. The Titans have that exact same story that they’re haunted by, so they can relate to what Buffalo will be going through this year.

Tennessee got the best of Buffalo last year in Week 5 of the NFL season but we have to remember the COVID situation that led to the Bills not knowing who they’d be playing until only a few days before. This could have led to the Titans being able to demolish them, but it also could have just been their day to wreak havoc.

It won’t be the same this time around and hopefully, we can see these two teams clash under the bright lights of primetime.
