The Tennessee Titans have an under the radar name at tight end in Briley Moore.

After losing Jonnu Smith to the Patriots in free agency, the Titans have some questions at tight end. As of now, Anthony Firkser will be the TE1 for Tennessee followed by Geoff Swaim as the TE2. Tommy Hudson and Jared Pinkney are also options for the team.

Briley Moore of Kansas State is someone to watch at the position. His numbers don’t necessarily pop off the page (22 receptions for 338 yards and three touchdowns in 2020) but he was ranked as the No. 6 tight end in this year’s draft class by Michael Renner of Pro Football Focus.

Renner offered this on Moore,

"Moore gets after it as a blocker and flashed a rare ability to take defensive ends off the line of scrimmage. He’s a terrific athlete for the position but isn’t much of a natural receiver. You can still see him thinking through his routes and not letting his natural gifts take over just yet."

Moore is a player who could really surprise people this summer. While the Titans have options at tight end, Moore has a chance at sliding in there and becoming an option for the 2021 season.

While any of the UDFA signings made by the Titans could go on to surprise, these three caught my eye and are names to watch moving forward. Herring provides depth at right guard, Reed is a pass-rushing phenom if he can stay healthy, and Moore is a solid blocking tight end who can make key receptions when called upon.
