The Tennessee Titans find a replacement for Jonnu Smith in Round 4.

The Tennessee Titans suffered a huge loss during free agency as Jonnu Smith exchanged that two-tone blue jersey for the red, white, blue, and silver that the New England Patriots wear on gamedays. By exiting, the Titans have to come up with an answer for all of the potential production that Smith took with him. Hunter Long of the Boston College Eagles, though not as gifted as Smith, figures to be someone who can step in and give Ryan Tannehill another weapon (and opposing defenses fits).

Long is a six-foot-five, 253-pound standout that hauled in 89 receptions for 1,297 yards while reaching the end zone nine times over the course of 26 career games at the collegiate level. He took home First-team All-ACC honors in 2020.

This isn’t the deepest class if we’re talking about talent at the tight end position, but there are some nice prospects to be found over the course of all seven rounds in this selection meeting. Long has to be seen as one of the ten best prospects.

There’s a chance that he goes in Round 3, but he can go in Round 4 as well. If the latter statement proves to be the accurate one, Round 4 would be the perfect spot for the Titans to land a phenomenal talent that can step into the lineup and contribute to the offense immediately.
