Dazz Newsome is a dangerous slot option for the Tennessee Titans.

Here’s an argument that comes up often in the Tennessee Titans fan base, and honestly, it’s one that’s worth listening to. As much as we can all agree that Tennessee needs to find some outside help for A.J. Brown, this is an offense that would truly explode with an amazing slot guy that can give the offense another dynamic that they can hang their hats on. Enter Dazz Newsome of the UNC Tar Heels.

If he was bigger and a tad more stocky, he’d be in the conversation as one of the draft’s top second-day prospects. As fate would have it, he tops out at five-foot-eleven and tips the scales at 190 pounds. This is someone that’s going to be a probla=em at the professional level as some team’s slot receiver.

Tennessee shouldn’t rest their hopes on Newsome and Newsome alone, but if they add a wideout early and look to double-dip later, this could be one of the steals in their draft.

Since we’re discussing slot candidates, fellow ACC alum Clemson’s Amari Rodgers and Auburn’s Anthony Schwartz are two other names to jot down.
