2. Tennessee Titans fans can expect 4,000 yards passing and 35 touchdowns.

Who are we kidding? We live in a football world where millions play Fantasy football and check out all of those tweets from Pro Football Focus even if half of what they report borders on making absolutely no sense. How many times have you checked out NFL Next Gen Stats over the past year? Exactly!

Let’s try to come up with a roadmap for where Mr. Tannehill is headed in 2021 from a numbers standpoint.

Since arriving in Tennessee, Tannehill has completed just over 67 percent of his attempts and has 8.6 yards-per-completion average. Again, he isn’t being reckless with the football, but expect that completion percentage and his attempts (481 in 2020) to rise in 2021, especially if the Titans invest in some help at the wide receiver position in the upcoming NFL Draft.

Derrick Henry plus better receiving targets equals an increase in time of possession and sustained drives. The result? After throwing for over 3800 yards and 33 touchdowns in 2020, we’re calling for a slight increase in production as Tannehill will have one more year of experience in this offense.

Expect 4,000 yards passing, 40 touchdown tosses, and maybe another three or four scores with his legs. He certainly doesn’t mind getting his jersey dirty if he has to.
