If the Tennessee Titans want a cornerback at 22, there will be options available.

It’s amazing how quickly things change in the NFL. That’s true if you’re a fan of any of the NFL’s 32 teams, but let’s talk about the Tennessee Titans for a sec. The assumption is that’s probably why a lot of you are here.

Even the most die-hard fan can forget that there are a few guys that don’t play for the team anymore that you’ve just gotten used to associating with the team colors. No one’s going to get upset and revoke your fan pass if that’s one of the things about this team that has slipped your mind.

Just last season, Malcolm Butler and Adoree Jackson were running around. They were released on March 5th and March 11th respectively. Tennessee signed defensive back Maurice Smith to a futures contract on February 1st. They added Breon Borders on March 1st before signing Kevin Johnson on March 13th and Janoris Jenkins a day later.

Then there’s Kristian Fulton. A second-round selection in 2020, he missed all but six games a season ago with a knee injury. He should be back in 2021, but what will his role be? Will he compete for a starting position?

Don’t be surprised if the Titans are in the market for a cornerback and they address that need early. If they do so in the first round, here’s a ranking of the top three guys that should be available when they’re on the clock at 22.
