. . Offensive tackle. 3. player. 35.

Everything begins in the trenches for this Tennessee Titans team.

Come on. You should have known what the drill was. Mike Vrabel is entering his fourth season as the Tennessee Titans head coach, and before he even stepped on the field for his first game in 2018, you had to know that the Titans were going to rely on running the football and playing defense.

Nothing makes a quarterback’s life easier, but if you’re going to play some old-school football, you have to know that everything on offense starts upfront with the big guys. Tennessee invested a third-round selection in 2019 in right guard Nate Davis. Rodger Saffold was a second-rounder in 2010 that earned Second-team All-Pro honors in 2017.

Ben Jones has started every game at the center position since 2016 with the exception of one in 2019. Taylor Lewan is a fixture at left tackle. The question with this team is what do they do at the right tackle position? This is where we can argue the need at the tight end position back into the top five, but Kendall Lamm has 27 career starts, Ty Sambrailo has 18 in 67 career games, and Brandon Kemp doesn’t have any.

This might be something Tennessee looks to address with one of those later-round picks.
