Are the Titans setting up a trade with the Steelers or Jets?

There are a lot of teams that seem to be interested in Oklahoma State offensive tackle Teven Jenkins like the Indianapolis Colts, Pittsburgh Steelers, New York Jets, and…the Tennessee Titans?

Where there is smoke there is fire…unless there is just more smoke.

There are good reasons to think that the Tennessee Titans may actually be interested in the offensive lineman, but we are also in the midst of lying season so you have to think about who benefits most from these rumors coming out.

In case you are wondering where the Jenkins rumors are coming from, this all really picked up steam on Thursday after former GM Charley Casserly was quoted by Shaun Calderon saying, “For the Titans, it’s a no-brainer. This guy is going to be better than Jack Conklin who they selected in the top-10.”

That was interesting, but Justin Melo followed up with this quote tweet:

It should be noted that Charley Casserly did end up mocking Isaiah Wilson to the Titans in his final 2020 NFL Mock Draft. There were rumors connecting Wilson to the Titans as well, but it wasn’t a “given” either, so it isn’t a stretch to think that he has some sort of connection in Tennessee’s front office.

Most of all though, I trust Justin Melo so let’s take a look at why the Titans should be interested.
