2nd round

Round 2, pick 36: Elijah Moore WR, Ole Miss

I don’t know why Moore isn’t a lock for the first round, but it seems like the perception is that he is going to fall to Day 2. That works out perfectly for the Tennessee Titans who get to add an Ole Miss who the players on the Titans roster are already pulling for.

There is a misconception that he can only play in the slot at the next level, but that is what people said about A.J. Brown coming out and also, there is an AFC South precedent for undersized WRs winning outside:

Round 2, pick 50: Landon Dickerson OL, Alabama

A reminder, this is what I think the Titans will do. Having said that, I do like Dickerson a lot and I think he is a dream fit for the locker room.

Over the past three years, 5 of the last 6 players the Titans have drafted in the first two rounds have been from the SEC and this is a team that believes strongly in investing in the offensive line. After photos popped up with Robinson and Dickerson hitting it off, it is easy to see why he would be a guy that they hope falls to the in the 2nd round.

Now, he is coming off of an ACL injury, but that didn’t stop them from taking Jeffery Simmons in 2019 so I don’t think it would stop them from drafting Dickerson here. Keep in mind, during his college career Dickerson played all five offensive line spots which is incredibly rare.

At 6’6, 320 lb. you can put him in a battle for the right tackle spot immediately and just let him compete with the rest of the line until he finds a starting spot.
