3. Duron Harmon

Exit one veteran safety, enter another veteran safety.

After spending the first seven seasons of his career in New England, Harmon spent 2020 in Detroit and quietly had his best season as a pro.

Harmon finished 2020 with a career-best 73 tackles and 2 INT’s. Harmon is the same age as the recently-departed Vaccaro, but won’t come with as high of a cap hit. Also of note, Harmon is a former Patriot, and former Patriots end up in Nashville quite often. Adding a 3x Super Bowl champ to the secondary could do wonders for the young Titans’ defensive backs.

It’s been widely assumed that Amani Hooker will take over for Vaccaro, but adding Harmon wouldn’t necessarily change that. Harmon and Hooker could split time at safety, or even both be on the field in Dime packages.

Harmon is a good, lower-cost option at safety.
