4. Bashaud Breeland

Breeland, age 29, has been a quality corner in the NFL for years now.

Since 2014, Breeland has had multiple INT’s in all but one season. In 2020 for the Chiefs, Breeland had 38 tackles and 2 sacks to along with an above-average PFF grade. Due to the Chiefs’ tight cap situation, Breeland is unlikely to be brought back into the fold in Kansas City.

Breeland is a few years younger than Malcolm Butler and would most likely be cheaper annually. Since the Titans have evidently already committed money to a few guys this offseason, a guy like Breeland is more realistic than one of the big-name FA’s. Breeland and Adoree Jackson on the boundaries with Kristian Fulton in the slot could be a formidable CB trio.

Breeland won’t cause a team to break the bank, and could still provide a few years of solid play on the outside.
