Wide Receiver

Starters returning (2 of 3): A.J. Brown, Adam Humphries, Cam Batson

Key backups: Nick Westbrook-Ikhine (special teams)

If there is a clear cut candidate this offseason, it is Adam Humphries. By cutting Humphries they would save $5 million in 2021 and $11 million in 2022 and the Titans need that money to pay pending free agent WR Corey Davis.

As it is now, the Titans have their stud WR1 in A.J. Brown and a slot receiver that has struggled to stay healthy during his two years in Tennessee. Without Corey Davis, this position group quickly moves into the conversation for one of the worst on the roster and the only reason that the position grade isn’t lower is because A.J. Brown is good enough to make any group of WRs an average or above average unit.

Cam Batson and Nick Westbrook-Ikhine aren’t bad options as the WR5 and WR6 on your roster, but if you are asking either one of them to play the bulk of your snaps on offense, you might want to make sure that you can run the ball. Otherwise, you are going to struggle to get anything going on offense.
