Assistant of the Year: Arthur Smith

This franchise has been playing in Tennessee since 1997. In that time, they have never had an offense that ranked in the top five in both total yards and points per game. That has come to an end in 2020.

Despite one of the worst defenses in the NFL, with a third-down efficiency so miserably bad that it distracts from the fact that the Titans have their worst-ranked defense since the 2-14 season of 2014, the Tennessee Titans have won 11 games, along with the AFC South crown.

That success belongs in near entirety to the brilliance of the offense, who have broken the 35-point mark in an astounding six of their 16 games. And oftentimes, they have needed every point they could get.

Please don’t leave, Arthur Smith.

Please.

Defensive Coordinator of the Year: N/A

Not enough defensive coordinator candidates could be found on the Tennessee Titans staff. Always next year, I suppose.
