Titans, Packers matchup issue.

The Tennessee Titans are the highest-scoring offense in the NFL heading into their matchup against the Green Bay Packers in Week 16.

There are a lot of reasons for this that Titans fans know, but if you are a Packers fan, you might not be 100% sure how this offense is so productive. Actually, I might be getting ahead of myself because I think there are a lot of people out there that wouldn’t even guess that the Titans were in the top-5 in terms of scoring offenses.

But, for those that do know, here is the secret to the Titans offense that is easy to say but nearly impossible to master: balance.

Jon Robinson has added skill players that just can’t be handled in one on one situations. So, if you want to overextend yourself to stop Derrick Henry, great but don’t be confused when Ryan Tannehill shreds you through the air.

Do you want to take the Bill Belichick vs the Jim Kelly-era Bills approach and force the Titans to beat you by running the ball 30+ times? Well, that is great too, just tell your players not to whine to the officials for flags because Derrick Henry stiff-armed them too hard.

Balance and smart decision making are key, and the brutal efficiency of this offense orchestrated by Arthur Smith and Ryan Tannehill is terrifying and beautiful.

So how do you stop it? Well, here is the way that people have been trying all year that hasn’t been working.
