Week 16 NFL Power Rankings: Chiefs and Packers lock in on top seeds
By Will Lomas

16. Minnesota Vikings (+2)
It looks like I moved the Vikings up two spots after a loss, but a better way to describe this rise is that I feel exactly the same way about the Vikings as I did last week, but the Rams and Raiders are so bad and left such a bad taste in my mouth that the Vikings were pushed up by their failure.
Say what you want about Kirk Cousins, I think he is a QB that you can win a lot of games with and I think that he is the right guy to start for that franchise. What they need is help on defense to make it count when guys like Justin Jefferson, Dalvin Cook and Adam Thielen, have huge games.
15. Washington (-1)
If you told me that Washington would be held without a sack and that they would have gotten very little production from their pass rush at all, I would have told you that I expected them to lose by 10+ points. However, Washington actually had a chance to win this game late in the fourth quarter.
I like Washington a lot, and it is a shame that they are going to be one of the teams that misses out on a quarterback this year because I believe that they really are a team that is a QB away from a lot of success. Maybe they make a play for Matthew Stafford or Carson Wentz this offseason.
