Week 16 NFL Power Rankings: Chiefs and Packers lock in on top seeds

20. New England Patriots (+0)
There are two ways you can look at this season for the Patriots. It is fair to say that this is a disappointing season when you look at the helmet and the coaching staff, but it is also fair to say that we expected worse when half of the Patriots starters opted out before the season.
Bill Belichick took a QB off the scrap heap and managed to put up more wins than a dozen other teams trying their absolute hardest. Hate it or love it, next year the Patriots will have good draft picks and lots of returning starters to depend on and that is going to make them very scary.
19. Dallas Cowboys (+5)
Good for Dallas. I expected less from this offense vs such a great defensive coaching staff, but give that team credit for finding ways to exploit the banged-up unit. While I still think that they are the second-best team in their division, it is fair to say that this coaching staff is doing more than I expected them to (which was a low bar to be fair, but still!).
