2. Green Bay Packers (+0)
You could argue that the Packers haven’t had a win that told us anything since their Week 3 win over the New Orleans Saints, but the fact is that it doesn’t really matter which team stands in front of Aaron Rodgers when he is playing like this. In fact, I would make the argument that if you are talking about teams that could beat the Packers, you shouldn’t even think about a team slowing down Rodgers, instead the conversation should shift to which offense can keep up.
The Packers have nearly locked up the #1 seed in the NFC and they are going to have an overwhelming advantage given their weather at home and the extra rest, but they are going to have to keep in mind just how hard it might be if they can’t do a better job keeping Rodgers upright in the cold weather.
1. Kansas City Chiefs(+0)
Kansas City is good. Kansas City is very good. Even when you think Kansas City is starting to look anything other than good, they turn around and look good.
I mean, how much can you say about the Chiefs at this point that we don’t already know? On offense, they are incredibly fast and Patrick Mahomes can hit any throw from any platform.
On defense they are opportunistic and that is all they have to be with that stellar offense on the other side.
Until someone dethrones them, they are going to live at the #1 spot.
