14. Chicago Bears (+2)

The Bears are steady risers in the power rankings these days and that is because the tandem of Mitch Trubisky and David Montgomery is just too hard to stop lately…wait…what did I just say?

Joking aside, the Bears are about to play themselves out of an upgrade at head coach this offseason if they aren’t careful. Unlike the Jets, a win for the Bears is still a good thing even when you look at the big picture because I honestly sort of thing that they could be a good team in 2021 if they just had a little bit more of the consistency that we have seen the last two weeks.

I am in the minority, but let’s just keep an eye on this going forward because the Bears are slowly becoming fun to watch again.

13. Miami Dolphins (+2)

I’m still not fully sold on Tua Tagovailoa, and I want to see him win more consistently as a passer, but it is hard to argue with the results he has gotten as the starter. Whether or not he fully deserves credit or if this is a “QB Winz” thing, I don’t know, but there is something different about the Dolphins now that he is the starting QB.

Maybe it is the hope that he will grow and turn into the first long time starter there since the pre-Adam Gase era, or maybe it is him as the focal point of the youth movement in that franchise, but either way, this team feels like they are going to have a much better decade in 2020 than in 2010.
