16. Chicago Bears (+1)

Key stat: 1st game with more than 30 points in over a year

I’m not sure whether it is hard to believe or easy to believe, but the Bears haven’t managed a game with more than 30 points in over a year, but they did it today against the Houston Texans.

Sure, we all know the jokes about the quarterback and the rest of that team, but they have one of the best receivers in the NFL and an “offensive-minded” head coach. You would think that they manage to top 30 points more than once in a year, but I guess they just don’t play the Texans enough.

15. Miami Dolphins (+3)

Key stat: Xavien Howard has an interception in five straight games

This is a stat that you have heard several times already, but wow having interceptions in five straight games and nine interceptions on the season is truly amazing.

Sure, the Dolphins wanted a win today, but the way that they managed to steal the ball away from the Chiefs offense whether they were targeting Howard or another player, is very impressive. Even if it was off of deflections or dropped passes, the fact that Mahomes was forced to make tough throws instead of layups is a testament to this defense by itself.
