18. Minnesota Vikings (-6)

Key stat: Only one multi-score win

After losing today, I went back to see just how impressive their resume was heading into this game. I have been a Vikings’ apologist this year so I may have been looking through violet tinted glasses because it isn’t wonderful.

In multi-score games, their record is 1-4 compared to single-score games where their record is 5-3. The point of that is, either the Vikings are battling it out until the end, or they are generally losing badly.

17. Las Vegas Raiders (-7)

Key stat: Raiders are 1-3 in their last four games

…and that one win includes a Hail Mary against the Jets.

I don’t know how much I need to say about this team, but they are spiraling wildly out of control. With the Chargers, Dolphins and Denver Broncos on the schedule, I’m not sure that the Raiders even finish with a winning record.
