26. Houston Texans (-3)

Key stat: Texans are one of four teams to ever let Mitch Trubisky pass for 3 TDs and 0 INTs

If we want to talk about why the Texans are so low in the power rankings, everyone wants to point to their offensive line and the issues at wide receiver, but this thing is nearly all on the defense. And for all the flak that the Texans run defense gets, the pass defense is just as bad and the stat above really shows that.

25. Philadelphia Eagles (+3)

Key stat: Eagles held the Saints without a sack

Despite having several injuries on the line and having a rookie quarterback getting his first start, the Eagles offensive line allowed zero sacks in this game. In case you are thinking, “Well maybe the Saints defense isn’t that great.” let me tell you that they absolutely are and they are 4th in NFL in sacks per game.

This was huge and now this team is really playing with some energy. The question is, what happens next and is it too late?
