Week 15 NFL Power Rankings: One key stat for each team
By Will Lomas
14. Washington Football Team (+8)
Key stat: Washington had two quarterbacks with double-digit attempts and less than 60 passing yards.
Not necessarily a historic stat here, but there are two big takeaways from this. First, Washington desperately needs a quarterback and neither guy on this roster should be considered the starter next season.
Secondly, this defense is suffocating and the fact that you can get away with that level of QB play in the NFL is a strong endorsement of that defense.
13. Arizona Cardinals (+1)
Key stat: Haason Reddick’s historic day.
In the last two decades, only 6 other players have had games with 5+ sacks and it hasn’t happened since the 2017 season when Adrian Clayborn did it against a backup lineman for the Dallas Cowboys.
Who knows if Reddick will ever have another season with the production that he had today, but you have to feel happy for a guy who really was being judged as a bust for years at this point.
