20. New York Giants (+2)

The Giants won, but it looks like Daniel Jones is going to be out for a while with a hamstring injury. That doesn’t hurt them through the air, but it definitely hurts them on the ground where Jones was starting to really find his groove as a runner.

Right now the question is whether or not they can hold off an interesting Washington Football Team who is right on their heels without the benefit of what Daniel Jones was bringing them on the ground. If they can, then it might mean the resurgence of Colt McCoy with this underrated group of weapons.

19. New England Patriots (+1)

The Patriots did an excellent job limiting Kyler Murray today and once they shut him down they managed to do just enough on offense and special teams to win the game.

Cam Newton still looks bad/hurt and on the season he has 4 passing TDs and 9 INTs and that just isn’t going to cut it. Obviously, they didn’t want to be stuck with him, but without a high enough draft pick to take a replacement they tried to make the best of a bad situation.

The Patriots aren’t out of it yet and with 5 wins (7 if you include the Jets and Chargers games they are almost guaranteed to win) and if they can just win two out of the Bills, Dolphins and Rams, then they might sneak up on everyone.
