Week 13 NFL Power Rankings: Titans rip Colts out of the top-5
By Will Lomas
22. Washington (+2)
Washington is so close to a playoff spot that they can taste it and honestly I am getting more and more on board with it. This team has an interesting offense and a defense that can be outright dominant at times. If the NFL is letting seven teams into the NFL playoffs anyway, why not bring a team like Washington that really has some exciting elements.
After winning two in a row, Washington has a brutal week this weekend with the Pittsburgh Steelers, but after that, they get the 49ers, Seahawks, Panthers, and Eagles. That has 2 or 3 more wins in there which should be enough to get into the postseason.
21. Denver Broncos (-5)
I’m worried that the Broncos are going to spiral out after a game where they had no quarterbacks left to play. With every excuse to just give up on the season now, they are going to have to find something to rally around if they are going to rebound from this loss.
Hopefully this next week they will have some quarterbacks to choose from and this team can get back to the positive momentum that they had a week ago, but it is losses like this that really demoralize a team.
